FERRETTI GROUP : from March 7th to 10th 2005 an important event will take place in La Spezia, dedicated to the captains of all Ferretti Group yachts.
After the very successful initiative inaugurated during last season in Riccione, in which over 50 captains participated from all over the world, the second edition of "Convergence" is eagerly awaited, devoted to the captains of all Ferretti Group yachts. The event, organized by Ferretti Group's Customer Relations Office in cooperation with all the companies of the Group, will take place in March 7th - 10th 2005 in La Spezia, where the Ferretti Group has an important shipyard and boat service centre. The goal of "Convergence" is to bring together those "who live the sea with love and respect 365 days a year" and, with them, to investigate the different technical and non technical aspects of everyday motor yacht management. During the "Convergence" days the Group's latest innovations will be presented, and sea trials will be carried out on different yachts, with the goal of allowing captains to personally appreciate the benefits of the new technologies. The Ferretti Group, led by Chairman Norberto Ferretti and CEO Giancarlo Galeone, is one of the world leaders in the design and construction of luxury motor yachts and sport crafts, and embraces the brands Ferretti Yatchs, Pershing, Bertram, Riva, Apreamare, Mochi Craft, Custom Line and CRN. The Ferretti Group, with over 2.000 employees (not considering the induced business) and a surface of about 478.000 square metres (indoor and outdoor), 15 shipyard in Italy and 1 in the United States, achieved a turnover of 558 million Euro as at August 31st, 2004, registering a substantial growth of + 45% compared to the 385 million euro of the previous year.
