
Following her spectacular launch party in January 2005, M/Y DILBAR, the stylish oceAnco 66m (216.55ft) superyacht has now been successfully delivered from the oceAnco-Alblasserdam shipyard in the Netherlands.
An ecstatic group of 250 crew members, subcontractors and oceAnco staff gathered on Friday 22nd April to witness the delivery celebration. As the clock struck 3:00pm, the Caribbean and Latin-American themed party commenced with the sounds from an authentic Salsa-Samba band which was then followed by exotic drinks and a delicious feast. Everyone who attended thoroughly enjoyed the event. It gave all involved with the project an opportunity to relax together and proudly appreciate the final result to which they had all contributed. Eel Kant, the Managing Director of the Shipyard, announced “You have all contributed significantly to achieve an absolutely spectacular yacht for which oceAnco is renowned for, and for which our owners have come to expect. Thank you for a tremendous job well done! Now, it’s time to celebrate and enjoy the party in your honour”. The Captain of the yacht also took the microphone and on his and the owner’s behalf, warmly thanked everyone who has been involved in this great team effort and who had done such a fantastic job. The naval architecture and exterior styling are from oceAnco and her stylish interior decoration is from Alberto Pinto. This stunning vessel is incredibly spacious and can accommodate up to 12 guests in a twin king-size bedded Master Suite (that can be divided in a one king-size bed Master and one king-size bed VIP) and four twin Guests cabins. The crewmembers are accommodated in six twin cabins and a two staff cabins. From the large fly bridge, which houses the impressive central waterfall Jacuzzi with contra flow function, a sea of sun beds, a large aft seating area complete with wet bar, a helipad and two large circular formal dining tables for six, which can be converted into a large dining table seating no fewer than eighteen guests, an outside cinema, an outside disco and barbecue facilities.
