SANLORENZO 72 availableThe Sanlorenzo 82 (23.95 m) from the eponymous Italian yard is on show for the first time in Germany. Following its facelift by the design studio Della Role, it is tantamount to a new model. The superstructure is now longer and wider, offering more interior space while flush-bonded glazing units make external cleaning much easier.
On the flybridge, the helmsman’s controls are more clearly arranged while the general layout has been further optimised. In the aft cockpit, the poop port leading to the bathing platform is slightly radiused to better match the general design. More powerful propulsion units are now available in the form of two engines each rated at 1,670 hp metric (1.228kW). And to quench their increased thirst, the tank capacity has also been expanded by 1,000 litres. The layout and equipment of the interior have essentially undergone little change. There are two versions available featuring four cabins plus one for the crew. Also being showcased by this exhibitor as a further German debutant and successor to the Sanlorenzo 57 is the 18.90m long Sanlorenzo 62 driven by two MTU common rail diesel engines each rated at 1,100 HPmetric (810 kW) powering a ZF shaft system to generate a maximum speed of 30 kn (55 km/h). This craft comes with three cabins offering six berths. Likewise on view will be plans of super yachts currently under construction and measuring around 40m in length, for which a new yard in Viareggio, a good 50 km from the company’s headquarters in Ameglia, is now responsible.
