The : an open yacht, 55 feet longThe second important chapter in the Itama new deal is the new FiftyFive, whose innovative features make it a highly prestigious representative of the shipyard’s fleet.
The many changes taking place at Itama include the launch of this radically new vessel that combines top performance with a layout offering large, open spaces both internally and externally. This is a motoryacht that boasts a marked contemporary feel, innovative technology, a modern design and all the latest trends in terms of style. A spectacular creation crafted by the combined efforts of architect, Marco Casali, the heads of the Itama Engineering Department, and the Ferretti S.p.A. AYT (Advanced Yacht Technology) division.
FIRST AND FOREMOST, REAL SPORTS STYLE.
This 18.82 metre long, glass fibre craft has been fitted with particularly high power engines: twin 1360 horsepower V-drive Common Rail MAN engines offering a peak speed of 41 knots; or in the standard version, twin 1100 horsepower V-drive Common Rail MAN engines offering a peak speed of 37 knots. Such performance is guaranteed by the shape of the boat based on Itama’s distinctive and famous deep V-shaped hull that now has higher bows and a slimmer, loftier stern than before. The deck has also been redesigned with a tighter curved profile. This increases the sporting style of the boat whose sea performance expresses its qualities to the full.
MORE SPACE TO FEEL FREE AT SEA.
The new FiftyFive demonstrates timeless Itama style as well as offering fresh solutions in terms of space optimization. The shape of the deck, cockpit and interiors, make this 55 footer remarkable for its dimensions and this “enlarging” effect offers unprecedented freedom of movement in every area.
The cockpit that has been extended by over 50 cm has been redesigned to improve daytime liveability and create a new area next to the helm station with a forward facing seat and a comfortable lounger. The sundeck area is also remarkably spacious.
The cockpit is furnished with every comfort including a real external galley. The sofa and table can also be doubled to sit 8 people.
The engine room can be reached in two ways, from the bow by removing the inverter and from the stern through a passageway located under the sundeck. This, naturally, frees the cockpit area.
The new rotary sliding door joins the cockpit to the spacious bathing platform and the convenient swim ladder, thereby turning the day zone and the sea access area into one continuous space.
