BOOT 2010 LETS VISITORS EXPERIENCE WATER SPORTS LIVE
Posted by: NavyNet on Thursday, December 17, 2009 - 11:00 CET

Boot Düsseldorf With a fresh, new advertising campaign, boot Düsseldorf 2010 - 41st International Boat Show – demonstrates the unique variety of water sports products on display. The slogan “Enjoy a 360° Water Sports Experience“ on advertisements, posters and the website communicates that visitors will experience water sports actively and up close. boot will be held from January 23 – 31, 2010 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany. About 1,650 exhibitors from more than 50 countries will present water sports equipment for fun activities above and below water.

“Our goal is to make boot the international meeting place for maritime sports and lifestyle,” explained Goetz-Ulf Jungmichel, Project Director of boot Düsseldorf. “The campaign offers our visitors a multifaceted experience. It presents the rich spectrum of water sports that a visitor can enjoy at boot and creates even more enthusiasm.”

The “Enjoy a 360° Water Sports Experience“ campaign is one of many initiatives of Messe Düsseldorf to prepare boot for the future and to secure its position as the world’s largest yacht and water sports trade fair. Long-term factors such as developing and changing demographics as well as changing recreational habits influence the development of visitor participation and visitor structures. The goal is to get new and most importantly younger visitors, such as young families, interested in boot and various types of maritime sports.

boot 2010 invites the attendees to participate, try out, discover and have fun. “boot Düsseldorf stands for much more than luxury and glamour,” stated Goetz-Ulf Jungmichel. “It presents an exceptional multitude of products and information for every water sports enthusiast – from fishing and action sports to sail and motor boats.” A second diving pool will be added so that visitors can test diving equipment under water. Fishermen will have their own pool to try out fishing techniques. Beach World will be geared more towards the lifestyle of surfers: new hip sport trends and equipment will be presented while engineers and designers will be on site to discuss the sports with their fans. In the Düsseldorf Aqua Zoo (located next to the Düsseldorf fairgrounds) students can get information about the ocean environment. In the “Kids’ Active Corner“, children can learn the basics of sailing.
