Sunday 5th The Italian Minister for Techological Innovation, Mr Lucio Stanca, officially visited Genoa 43rd International Boat Show on Sunday. He was the third représentative of the Italian Government to visit the Show this year, after the Minister for Infrastructures - Mr Pietro Lunardi - and the Minister for the Government Plan Implementation - Mr Claudio Scajola -who officially opened the Show on Saturday 4th. Minister Stanca, a real sea-lover and, in his own words,
a potential customer for many exhibitors at the Show, praised the qualityof the Show and of ail boats and products on display (accessories, electronic instruments, engines, etc.), expressing the hope that other économie sectors in Italy will follow in the wake of the boating sector, which seems to be bucking the woridwide negative trend. Sailing boats are constantly in the spotlight at the Show, just like challenges.Undoubtediy, Mascaizone Latino s presence outside the reception immediately captures the attention of the visitors queuing to enter the Show, representing thé America's Cuptogether with Sail Academy's crafts, Moro di Venezia, Mighty Mary, and Kanza, whichtook part in several America's Cups in previous years.
